           persuade sb not to do sth;  [-den vazgeçirmek]

           discuss sth with sb;  [görüşmek, tartışmak]

          I decided to talk the scheme over with my teacher.
          She hates talking things over with somebody.


            tear up (tr)

           destroy (a document, etc) by tearing;  [param parça etmek]

          He was so angry that he tore all the documents up.

           tell off (tr)

           reprimand, reproach, scold sb; [azarlamak]

          The boss told me off for being late.


           tell on (tr)

           reveal sb.’s activites, esp. to a person in authority; [-i ihbar etmek, gammazlamak]

          She saw me cheat during the exam and told on me.


            think over (tr)

           reflect upon sth. (esp. before reaching a decision);  [düşünmek, düşünüp taşınmak]
