STORIES OF RAMADAN

                - And what about Aisha? Asked my sister.

                 - Wait and see who will be with us during the prayer.
Another beautiful side of Ramadan is this! Our friends
who we rarely see start coming to our house so often during
Ramadan. Sometimes for iftar time, sometimes for prayers...
And some other days in Ramadan, we go to their houses
            and be their guests.

And now... My father gave us the signal and everybody
got in a rush. After the evening prayer, we did head to our
room joyfully. We have to finish our homeworks before the
            guests start

coming. I and my sister talked a little bit yesterday and
made some decisions for Ramadan. We noted all of these on a
paper, both signed it and did hang it on our wall. Let’s share
some of these decisions with you, if you would like to hear.

                 * This Ramadan, we will not sadden our parents even
            for once.
                 * We will complete our tasks and be responsible all the

            time.
                 * We will help those who are in need everywhere.

                 * We will definitely not miss any prayers!
I and my sister promised each other that we would
always tidy our room and keep it clean. When I woke up

this morning, I did tidy my own bed and my sister’s too.
When my sister saw her bed tidy, she was both happy and
            shocked.

                                                                    9
