SUBORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS

‘Yan cümle bağlaçları’ anlamındaki subordinate conjunctions bir yan cümleyi temel cümle
(main clause)’ye bağlamamıza yarar. Aslında bu bağlaçların hepsini ADVERBIAL
CLAUSES (Zarf cümlecikleri ) adlı konuda da görebilirsiniz:

Adverbial clauses için kullanmamız gereken bağlaçlar (conjunctions) vardır. Bunları, belirt-
tikleri durumlara göre sınıflandırıp bir tabloda görelim:

when, whenever, while, as, since, after, before, until/till, once,
TIME as soon as, now (that), the moment/minute (that), by the
