 Özellikle İngiliz İngilizce‟sinde from, different‟tan sonra gelir:

 Özellikle Amerikan İngilizce‟sinde to ve than, different‟tan sonra kullanılır:

 different from/than cümleden önce kullanabilir:

Just, almost, exactly, nearly + as + sıfat ile benzerlik derecelendirmesi yapılabilir:
