Each:

Herbir anlamına gelen each, bahsettiğimiz gruptaki üyelerden tek tek , ayrı ayrı bahsederken
kullanılır ve tekil bir isimden önce gelir. Each’den sonra (one) of geldiği zaman kullanacağı-
mız isim çoğul olmalıdır. Her iki durumda da fiil tekildir:

Each county is subdivided into several districts.
Each child learns at his or her own pace.
Each day passed without any news.
Each (one) of the boys broke into his house.
Each (one) of them has phoned to thank me.
Each (one) of us has to produce different programmes. .
He will see each (one) of them separately.

Each other ve one another:

‘Birbirlerine, birbirimize’ anlamında kullanılır:

They help one another in the exams.
(Sınavlarda birbirlerine yardım ederler)

I and Bob kicked the ball to each other all afternoon.
(Bütün öğle sonrası ben ve Bob topu birbirimize attık)

We phone each other every day.
(Her gün birbirimize telefon ederiz)

 each other’s ve one another’s şeklinde de kullanılabilirler:

We are listening to each other’s/one another’s records.
(Birbirimizin kasetlerini dinliyoruz)

Members of this party usually meet in one another’s homes.
(Bu partinin üyeleri genellikle birbirlerinin evinde buluşurlar)

We know each other’s/one another’s problems very well.
(Birbirimizin problemlerini çok iyi biliriz)
