 All, belirli bir şeyi niceliyorsa the/my/these gibi sözcüklerle kullanılır ya da bunlardan
önce of kullanılabilir:

All (of) my flowers have died.
All (of) the toys were broken.
All (of) the guests are elegantly dressed.
All (of) the demonstrators were proved guilty.
All (of) these tourists are enamoured of our country.

 Us, you, them zamirleri ile de All of kullanılır:

All of us are responsible for those mistakes. =We all are responsible for those mistakes.
All of you have to attend this course. =You all have to attend this course.
All of them were sent into exile. =They all were sent into exile.

All ve whole:

 Whole genellikle sayılabilen tekil isimlerle kullanılır. The, my, your, this gibi sözcükler
whole’dan önce, fakat, all’dan sonra kullanılırlar.

They forgot the whole matter. He read the whole book I lent him.
They forgot all the matter. He read all the book I lent him..

She ate the whole cheese by herself. Bob reads the whole time.
She ate all the cheese by herself. Bob reads all the time.

Mary told us the whole story. His whole life is a matter of discussion.
Mary told us all the story. All his life is a matter of discussion.

 a whole yapısı da kullanılır:

She ate a whole cake on her own. (Bütün bir keki tek başına yedi)
They worked a whole hour. (Bütün bir saat çalıştılar)

 Bunları zaman ifade eden sözcüklerle de kullanabiliriz:

He stayed at home the whole week.
He stayed at home all (the) week.

They spent the whole summer in Mersin.
They spent all (the) summer in Mersin.
