 Adverbial Clauses of Time:

Zaman zarflı cümlecikler when sorusuna cevap verir. Adverbial clause cümle başında
kullanıldığı zaman virgülle ana cümle (main clause)’den ayrılır:

Kullanılan bağlaçlar (conjunctions): when, whenever, while, as, since, after, before,
until/till, once, as soon as, now (that), the moment/minute (that), by the time (that),
immediately, as long as

When he reaches his aim, he will be a very rich man.
(Amacına ulaştığı zaman çok zengin bir adam olacak)

They decided to climb the mountain as soon as the weather improved.
(Hava düzelir düzelmez dağa tırmanmaya karar verdiler)

Before he begins his project, he will compile information.
(Projesine başlamadan önce bilgi derleyecek)

After he graduates from university, he will get a well-paid job.
(Üniversiteden mezun olduktan sonra parası iyi olan bir işi olacak)

He had been watching television for eight hours until/till his mother came.
(Annesi gelene kadar sekiz saat boyunca televizyon seyretmekteydi)

I wept bitterly as he was telling his life story.
(O yaşam hikayesini anlatırken acı bir şekilde ağladım)

Whenever I need help, you are the first person to help.
(Ne zaman yardıma ihtiyacım olsa yardım edecek ilk kişi sensin)
