(Bütün dükkanlar kapalıydı bu yüzden hiç süt bulamadım)

The boss was ill, so (that) I went to the meeting in his place.
(Patron hastaydı bu yüzden toplantıya onun yerine ben gittim)

These glasses are very expensive, so (that) please be careful with them.

In order that anlamındaki amaç (purpose) belirten so that ile sonuç (result) belirten so
(that)’ in kullanımına dikkat ediniz:

They studied very hard so (that) they could/would pass the exam. (purpose=amaç)
(Sınavı geçebilmek için çok sıkı çalıştılar)

They studied very hard , so (that) they could pass the exam. (result= sonuç)
(Çok sıkı çalıştılar bu yüzden sınavı geçebildiler)

Zıtlık belirten zarf cümlecikleri ile kullanılan bağlaçlar (conjunctions): although, though,
however, even, though, as, even if, while, much as, whereas, no matter + QW (soru
sözcüğü), however + sıfat/zarf, whatever:
