 Subsequently, suddenly, then, these days, ultimately;

Bunlar cümlenin sonunda, fiilden sonra veya cümlenin başında kullanılırlar. Vurgu yapmak
istediğimiz zaman cümlenin başında kullanılırlar:

Eventually, they passed the KPDS exam.
Soon, I will leave our team.
Ultimately, all the colonies will become independent.
Suddenly, the crowd started shouting and singing.

 Fiil be olduğu zaman genellikle ondan sonra kullanılırlar:

She was recently in Çanakkale.
They had been eventually champion.

 Early, late, immediately cümlenin sonunda kullanılırlar:

He finished his cigarette, then lit another one immediately.
You arrived late.
They will leave here early.

Still :

Genellikle progressive tense (devam eden)'lerle kullanılır. Soru ve olumlu cümlelerde kullanı-
lır. Yeri genelde 'be' den sonra fakat diğer fiillerden öncedir:

There is still a chance that a few might survive.
He is still using the same computer.
They still try to find a cure for AIDS.

 Olumsuz cümlelerde kullanıldığında memnuniyetsizlik veya şaşkınlık belirtir:

I still haven't understood the new programme.
He still doesn't change his mind.

Already :

 Olumsuz cümlelerde kullanılmayan bir zarftır. Cümlede değişik yerlerde kullanılabilir:

- be fiilinden sonra: When I got home, she was already in bed.
- diğer fiillerden önce: They already know what you do.

 Vurgu yapmak için bir auxiliary (yardımcı fiil) den önce kullanabiliriz:

I already should inform them.
