Fewer, few’in comparative (üstünlük karşılaştırması) şeklidir. Fewest ise few’in süperlative
(en üstünlük derecesi) şeklidir:

Of all the class, he got the fewest points.

A/the majority of:

‘...in çoğu, çok büyük bir bölümü’ anlamındadır:

The majority of people are against abortion.
The majority of students failed in the exam.
A majority of people seem to prefer TV to radio.

A minority of:

‘...in azı, az bir bölümü anlamındadır:

Only a small minority of children get a chance to benefit from this system.
Only a minority of his books were sold.

Many:

Olumlu, olumsuz, soru bütün cümle türlerinde insan veya şeyler için kullanılan ‘pek çok’
anlamındaki niceleyicidir:

Number’ın önünde large/great/small/surprising/considerable gibi sıfatlar kullanılabilir:
