▀ Using passive voice in interrogatives (Edilgen çatının sorularda kullanılması)

Bir soruyu edilgen bir hale dönüştürmek istiyorsak, yardımcı fiili cümlenin başına getirir,
diğer kuralları aynen uygularız:

Active : Is your father selling the car?
Passive: Is the car being sold?

Active : Has the teacher checked our exam papers?
Passive: Have our exam papers been checked?

 Who ile yapılan sorularda eylemin kim tarafından (agent) yapıldığı soruluyorsa sorunun
soununa by getirilir:

Active : Who has taken my book?
Passive: Who has my book been taken by?

Active : Who will organize our holiday?
Passive: Who will our holiday be organized by?

 Who ile nesne soruluyorsa by kullanılmaz. Nesneye ait edat varsa (preposition) cümle
sonunda kullanabiliriz:

Active : Who are you going to invite to your birthday party?
Passive : Who is going to be invited to your birthday party?

Active : Who have they given the prize to?
Passive : Who has the prize been given to?

 What ile de edilgen soru yapılabilir. Bu soru zamiri ile soru yaparken bundan sonra
gelecek fillerin tekil olmasına dikkat etmeliyiz. Çünkü edilgen cümlede özne durumuna
getirebileceğimiz sözcük yoktur.:

Active : What have you prepared for dinner?
Passive: What has been prepared for dinner?

Active : What were they talking about?
Passive: What was being talked about?
